As the restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic are being relaxed, we wish everyone a safe return to your classes and socials. Instructors and students alike will be excited to be returning to some kind of normal.
The NSW Line Dance Ball Committee met last weekend to wrap up the unfortunate cancellation of this years Ball and to commence the planning and organising for next years event. The date to put in your diaries for next years Ball is Saturday 10th April, 2021.
As part of the wrapping up of this years Ball, the drawing of the Raffle was discussed. In line with recommendations from the Department of Fair Trading, no further tickets were sold after Saturday 18th April, 2020. In order to draw the raffle with the utmost transparency, we have been waiting until restrictions ease, and social events are able to be held, that will enable us to conduct the official raffle draw. When we are able to finalise an appropriate place, date and time we will inform you of that information.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 Ball, all ticket sales were refunded. However, with the money from the sale of raffle tickets, the money raised through fund raising events held in the build up to the Ball and numerous personal donations, we are pleased to announce that we are still able to make a $10,000 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney this year.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Maddison Glover who held an online workshop on Saturday April 18, 2020 of her dance, Southern Dreams, which she had choreographed for this years Ball.
Thank you for your continued support and if there is anything we can help you with regarding the NSW Line Dance Ball please don't hesitate to contact us via our email address;- firstname.lastname@example.org
In light of the new Government restrictions, from midnight March 30th, 2020 regarding the current
Covid-19 pandemic, the NSW Line Dance Ball Raffle draw, scheduled for April 18, 2020, has been postponed.
This decision has been made following advice from Fair Trading. It is physically impossible for us to conduct the draw in a completely transparent manner now that mass gatherings are restricted to no more than 2 people.
We sincerely apologise for this decision as we were still hoping to conduct the draw on April 18 as advertised, despite the cancellation of the 2020 Ball.
All ticket sales will cease on April 18, 2020, and once restrictions are lifted, the NSW Line Dance Ball Committee will notify everyone of the new date for the draw to be conducted.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to help keep families together while at RMH. Please stay safe and hopefully see you all back on the dance floor in the not too distant future.

Many thanks to all those who purchased and/or sold raffle tickets, and of course those Instructors who held Fundraising events prior to Covid-19 restrictions. We are also grateful to those who were able to make a donation of their Ball ticket refund.
Information regarding the upcoming official draw of our major raffle will be available soon.
